CURATED COLLECTION DRESS HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BY PLACING AN ORDER YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

ALL POSTAGE ORDERS FOR THE WEEKEND MUST BE PLACED BY TUESDAY, PRIOR TO 4 PM AEST.

ANY ORDERS PLACED AFTER WILL ONLY BE ENTITLED TO A CREDIT NOTE MINUS POSTAGE COST IF NOT DELIVERED IN TIME.

ALL PICK UP ORDERS FOR THE WEEKEND MUST BE PLACED BY FRIDAY, 4 PM AEST.

BOOKING PERIOD:

The rental period selected for your rental is 'inclusive'. The standard rental period is 4 days. For example, if your rental starts on Friday for the weekend, the dress must be returned (posted back or dropped off) no later than the following Monday. Please note that late return fees apply. If you require longer rental or special holiday bundle package, please contact us here or on Instagram @curated.collection.au to discuss.

PAYMENT TERMS:

The garment fee and dry-cleaning fee are included in the "hire fee".

FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF THE BOOKING TO SECURE THE DATES. YOUR DRESS IS NOT SECURED UNTIL THE PAYMENT IS MADE.

SIZING ISSUES/FAULTY GARMENTS:

If a garment does not fit or is unsuitable for any reason and you need to return it, please contact us here or direct message our Instagram @curated.collection.au. We will issue a credit note minus postage fee of $30 only if the dress is returned to us in its original "unworn" condition after you post it back within 24 hours of delivery. Curated Collection Dress Hire will define the term "unworn," which must be met before a credit is applied.

Within 5 hours after delivery, you must inspect your dress, notify us, and send us photos of any damage. If the condition of the garment is unsuitable for wearing which is unlikely, it must be returned the same day it is received. If we are not notified within this time period or are not sent photo evidence, you may be held liable for the damage. Even if you believe you will wear the item, you should still message us.

Clients understand that they are wearing second-hand clothing that has been worn by others and that some wear and tear is to be expected. Curated Collection Dress Hire will not issue refunds for garments that meet the expected level of hire.

LATE FEE POLICY:

If you return your item(s) late, you will be charged a $10.00 late fee for each day you are late, up to 200% of the garment’s retail value.

CREDIT NOTES:

Only one credit note can be applied per order. All credit notes issued are only valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation. Credit note orders are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for another credit note.

COLLECTION:

Free pick up can be arranged in Melbourne. We will forward you the relevant information to collect/return your garment once your item is secured. 

POSTAGE:

Delivery via Australia Post Express is $19.95. This fee is additional to dress hire and already includes pre-paid satchel for easy return. If you require urgent guaranteed next day delivery it can be arranged with overnight courier delivery to major Australian cities for an extra fee. 3-hour deliveries in Melbourne are also available subject to availability and courier fee.

Credits will not be issued for late deliveries where you were not present to accept the package or collect it from post office on time.

When you request delivery, you automatically grant Australia Post permission to leave your parcel in a safe location. If you do not want to give us this authority, you must state this clearly with alternative delivery instructions.

We do not take responsibility for orders that are sent to an incorrect or ineligible address. This includes giving an invalid apartment/unit number, your name, company name, or any other relevant information. If you provide an incorrect address, you will not be eligible for a refund or credit, and you may be charged late fees or a replacement fee if the dress is not returned to us.

In the unlikely event that the dress is delivered after your return date, you must still return it as soon as possible (no later than 24 hours after delivery). If you need more time to return the dress, please contact us. If a garment is not returned within a reasonable timeframe, you are liable for 100% of the RRP (Recommended Retail Price) and liable for late fees.

Please keep in mind that we strive to deliver every item as soon as possible. If you order ahead of time and in unlikely event the dress does not arrive on time, you are entitled to a full refund. Last- minute hires (orders placed less than 36 hours before delivery) that do not arrive on time are eligible for a credit note.

Orders received after 4 pm AEST will be shipped the next day. Orders placed after 4pm AEST Wednesday for the weekend will not be refunded because they may not be delivered by the following business day.

RETURNS:

If your rental ends on a weekend or public holiday please post your garment back next business day from Australia Post office.

Please place your garment in pre-paid EXPRESS postage satchel provided with your order, sign the package and drop it off at your local post office before midday. If your item has been posted to you in a box, please reuse the same box when possible and place provided NEW postal label over the old one. Garments sent in boxes are usually larger garments packed quite tightly so please be careful opening the box to avoid any damage.

When posting your garment back please ensure you get a proof of lodgement receipt from the post office. DO NOT drop off the package in one of Australia Post boxes.

Curated Collection Dress Hire will not be held liable for any lost or delayed items returned to Australia Post Boxes. However, if a parcel goes missing after you've lodged it at an Australia Post Office, you will not be held liable. To avoid additional charges, you must provide the copy of the lodgement receipt obtained from post office.

CLEANING:

Professional cleaning is included in your hire. You agree that you will not attempt to clean, alter, iron/press the garment/s under any circumstances (unless otherwise arranged). All garments are dry cleaned and steamed before postage, but they may become creased in the post satchel. Certain fabrics, however, are more prone to wrinkles, so if you receive a dress with minor creases, please try steaming it on low heat.

DAMAGED/LOST/REPLACEMENT GARMENT:

You agree to treat our products as if they were your own, with the utmost care.

In the unlikely event that an item is damaged, you are fully liable to pay for the repairs. If the item is damaged beyond repair, rendering it 'unwearable,' we will ask you to pay for the damages in the amount of 120% of the item's RRP.

In case of damage, Curated Collection Dress Hire determines that the cost of repairs Renter is responsible for. If Curated Collection Dress Hire determines that the dress cannot be repaired, the fee charged may be up to, but not more than, 120% of the garment's original RRP. This fee will be in addition to any rental or postage fees already paid, and the item must still be returned to the rental partner, regardless of the amount of damage.

Do not attempt to repair a rented item if it is damaged. If it is simple to repair (for example, sewing on a button or re-stitching), it will be done at NO additional cost to you. It's also not a problem if the garment is stained, as long as it comes out when it is dry-cleaned after you've returned the garment.

Note that additional fees might apply if the dress requires additional cleaning due to it’s poor condition and heavy staining that are not removable after first dry clean.

If you've lost or not returned an item, you will be liable for up to 200% of the RRP of the item.

CANCELATION POLICY:

You may cancel your rental order subject to the cancellation fees and policies listed below:

1. Cancellations 21 or more days prior to your booking start date will be refunded in full. Please note we are unable to offer refunds on Afterpay orders. You will be given credit note if you paid for your hire with Afterpay. 

2. Cancellations 14 or more days prior to your booking start date will be entitled to a credit note for the full amount paid including postage. This credit is transferrable to any future hires made within 6 months of the cancellation date.

3. No cancellations are allowed if your cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to your booking start date. No refund or credit will apply.

LIABILITY:

The customer agrees not to hold Curated Collection Dress Hire liable for
any incidental damages or financial loss of an indirect or consequential nature, caused by the late delivery or non-delivery of an item. 


Curated Collection Dress Hire doesn't accept responsibility for any damages or injury caused by their product or service, such as personal injury caused by chemicals applied to a garment.

TITLE TO RENTAL ITEMS:

The rental items are and will always be the property of Curated Collection Dress Hire.

Furthermore, we reserve the right to retrieve the item at any time.

Curated Collection Dress Hire reserves the right to change/alter/remove our contracted terms and conditions at any time.
